Get your Motorsport UK competition licence
Depending on the discipline you choose, you'll need the appropriate Motorsport UK competition licence before you can compete.
The type of licence and requirements vary according to the motorsport discipline and level of competition. Some routes have relatively simple entry requirements, while others may require training or an assessment before your first event.
Join the BARC
To compete in BARC-organised championships and events, you will need the appropriate BARC membership.
BARC Racing Membership is designed for competitors taking part in competitions organised by BARC headquarters, while different membership requirements may apply to competitions organised through our regional Centres.

What can I compete in with BARC?
Hillclimbs
Race against the clock on some of Britain's most challenging hillclimb courses, where competitors aim to set the fastest time from the start line to the top of the hill.
