About the British Automobile Racing Club
Founded in 1912, the British Automobile Racing Club (BARC) is one of the United Kingdom's leading motorsport organisations. With more than a century of experience, the Club organises over 30 championships and more than 60 race meetings each year, supporting competitors from grassroots club racing through to internationally recognised championships.
The BARC is responsible for organising and promoting events across a wide range of motorsport disciplines, including touring cars, single-seaters, endurance racing, sports cars, historic motorsport, truck racing and hill climbs. Alongside championship administration, the Club owns and operates Croft Circuit and Pembrey Circuit, as well as supporting the operation of Gurston Down and Harewood Speed hill climb venues.
Whether you're a competitor, official, volunteer, team member or motorsport fan, the BARC plays a central role in British motorsport by delivering safe, professionally organised events and creating opportunities for competitors at every level of the sport.
