The Harewood Speed Hill Climb Championship is organised by the BARC Yorkshire Centre and brings a wide variety of cars and drivers together to compete against the clock at one of the UK's most iconic hill climb venues. From road-going and modified saloons and sports cars to single-seaters, competitors battle for the fastest time in their class.
Harewood's 1,440-metre course is the longest speed hill climb in the UK, providing a unique challenge for competitors and spectacular views for spectators.

The Harewood Course
At 1,440 metres, Harewood Hill is the longest speed hill climb course in the UK. Set in the Yorkshire countryside, the course provides a unique challenge, with some cars reaching speeds of more than 120mph.

Harewood hosts a busy programme of speed events throughout the year, including the Harewood Speed Hill Climb Championship alongside British Hillclimb Championship rounds and a range of other hill climb events.

Harewood
History
Harewood Hillclimb was built and opened by the BARC Yorkshire Centre at Stockton Farm near Leeds, establishing a new home for speed competition in Yorkshire. The venue has since become one of Britain's best-known hillclimb courses and a longstanding part of the BARC's speed event programme.
At 1,440 metres, Harewood is the longest speed hillclimb course in mainland UK. Its fast, flowing layout and spectacular setting have attracted generations of competitors, while the venue has also become a regular host of the British Hillclimb Championship.
