The BARC Speed Championship is designed to provide low-cost, accessible motorsport for everyone, from experienced competitors to those taking their first steps into competition. With an emphasis on inclusion and enjoyment, the championship offers a competitive environment for a wide range of drivers and cars.
Competitors tackle courses individually against the stopwatch, rather than racing alongside other cars. Events can include sprints, hill climbs and other speed events, providing plenty of variety throughout the season.

History
The BARC Speed Championship has been part of the Club's speed event programme for many years and is managed by the BARC Midlands Centre, which has overseen the championship since 2009.
The championship has continued to evolve, with its focus on accessible, competitive speed events and opportunities for drivers across a wide range of cars.
